WOT on Earth
The extraordinary findings of the WOT Intercept Division.
The WOT Intercept Division cannot guarantee the accuracy of any recovered transmission.
WOT appears to think in pictures. Unfortunately he also daydreams.

Observation #27
Intercepted May 4, 2014
WOT reports: Skills learned on Earth will prove useful on return home.

Analysts believe WOT does not distinguish between dreams and observations

Field Observations
Since arriving on Earth, WOT has attempted to understand the behaviour of this planet and its inhabitants.
His methods are careful, patient and highly unusual.
Rather than studying governments, technology or major human achievements, WOT appears drawn to overlooked details — objects humans no longer notice, places that seem forgotten, and behaviours considered too ordinary to observe closely.
He studies traffic cones.
Plastic chairs left alone in fields.
Television antennas reaching toward the sky.
Puddles reflecting artificial light.
Vacant shopfronts.
Discarded toys.
Roadside signs.
Animals staring through fences.
Many Earth objects appear, to WOT, to serve emotional rather than functional purposes.
He has repeatedly expressed confusion regarding decorative garden ornaments, birthday balloons, amusement parks, lawn flamingos, novelty hats, shopping trolleys and illuminated motel signs.
Some transmissions suggest he believes humans surround themselves with symbolic objects in order to reduce feelings of isolation.
Other transmissions imply he may be attempting to imitate human behaviour himself.
WOT continues his observations daily.
As new transmissions are intercepted and translated, they will be added to this archive for public record.
