THE TI-43 THOUGHT INTERCEPTOR

Equipment Record TI-43

The TI-43 was the first successful apparatus capable of receiving and recording anomalous cognitive transmissions.

Constructed in 1943, the machine employed a combination of vacuum tubes, magnetic recording components and several systems whose purpose remains unclear.

The device did not receive conventional signals.

Instead, it appeared capable of detecting patterns associated with thought.

Although later models improved reception quality, the original TI-43 remains responsible for the majority of early WOT recordings.

The machine is currently preserved within the Archive Facility.

Operational status: Unknown.
